We are excited to invite all parents and families to attend our upcoming Academic Night on Thursday, March 12th, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
This special evening will provide important academic information and resources to help support our scholars both at school and at home as we prepare for upcoming exams and important milestones.
Academic Night will take place at two locations:
9th Grade Families: Academic Night will be held at the Ninth Grade Center.
10th–12th Grade Families: Academic Night will be held at the Spring High School Main Campus.
During the evening, families will receive valuable information about academic expectations, testing preparation, and strategies that can help students continue to grow and succeed. Departments will also share helpful resources that families can take home to support learning.
For our senior families, this will also be an important opportunity to receive updated senior information, including reminders about graduation requirements, important upcoming senior events, and steps students should be completing as they prepare for graduation and their post-secondary plans.
To make the evening even more exciting, there will be opportunities to win prizes throughout the event.

As a certified law enforcement officer and Law Enforcement teacher, Mr. McLaughlin brings real-world experience into the classroom, preparing students for careers in public safety and criminal justice. His leadership extends beyond instruction as the SkillsUSA Law sponsor, where he consistently leads a chapter of 20+ active members each year, empowering students to develop leadership, teamwork, and career-ready skills.
Mr. McLaughlin exemplifies the CTE leadership model by:

Lion Players Theater Company News!!
At the NSDA Regional Tournament this weekend, Aaleyah Davis and Janelle Thomas finished 4th in Duo Interpretation and are 1st Runners Up for an invitation to the National Finals. Paulino Martinez III finished in the top 12 in Dramatic Interpretation.
Abeer Siddiqui and Mikayla Zepeda qualified virtually for the International Thespian Festival in Duet Musical, and Joshua Jameson qualified in Monologue - his second qualified event. This brings our total this year to 13 national qualifiers from the Lion Players Theatre Company - the largest number in quite some time.
